PFSRB Workshop: Challenges & Opportunities

Partners FOR the Saskatchewan River Basin will host an online facilitated workshop concerning the Saskatchewan River Basin. This will be made available to Partners’ members at no cost thanks to a sponsorship by the City of Saskatoon. The session will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. CST on March 21, 2023. Any interested organization or individual wishing to take part in this discussion is invited to attend; please register here.
The following questions or statements may stimulate your thoughts for the virtual session:
- Climate change is an obvious challenge to water managers in our basin. Are there other challenges which we should draw attention?
- Has Partners made a significant difference to you or your organization that warrants elaboration in our report?
- Are there emerging opportunities (or challenges) to which Partners could have made a significant contribution had we been able to continue?
- If you were advising a water stewardship group which was aiming to contribute to water and water management in the Prairies, what lessons would you draw from the Partners’ experiences which would be particularly helpful to other groups?
