Background information: Our response to our environment is guided in part by experiences from our past. This quiet activity lets members of your group explore the diversity or commonality of water experiences that group members have had. It's a good way to get to know each other better. Instructions: Have your group sit in a circle. Have each person tell a personal story about water. These stories can range from accounts of going to the lake for the day, to being caught in a thunderstorm, going fishing or just about being very thirsty. Limit the stories to about five minutes or less.
