Everyone understands that there are situations and events outside of our control and that teams are sometimes required to withdraw from the competition. If this happens, we request that you notify the office as soon as possible. You can attend the competition with a minimum of 3 students. Two weeks prior to the competition, the rooming lists, facility costs and schedule planning have all been finalized. Withdrawal of a team in the last two weeks prior to the Envirothon results in significant costs. Below is a table that highlights the expenses incurred by each team for Envirothon based upon the 2010 competition details.
Actual Costs of Envirothon
Have you ever wondered how much it costs to put on the Saskatchewan Envirothon? We have broken down these costs into three categories. Sponsorship is used to help offset the costs for shared expenses and participating team expenses. Without the sponsorship it would not be possible to put on the competition.
1) Shared Expenses: behind the scene costs for the event, organizing time, travel, facility rental, supplies, printing etc. While the majority of these expenses occur specifically in relation to the event in May, many do occur throughout the entire year.
